I am a one man office and my warehouse is based in Japan.

Currently I am dealing with a continuous family medical situation, and am limited to working only 3-4 days a week. I am very sorry for the delay in sending your order due to this situation and thank you so much for your patience. ]

shipping
All orders are shipped from the warehouse in Japan by either EMS, UPS or DHL service. It usually takes about 4-5 days, but could take over 10 days for delivery as it will go through the customs. Please kindly be patient.

I cannot be responsible for replacing or refunding if a package is not located at said delivered location after delivery was confirmed by the tracking system.

I am not responsible for brokers fee or duty tax.

I will insure the package if requested with an extra cost. 

out of stock even though it was in your cart?
I know some of you do not want to check out immediately. Please kindly note that one or more items in your cart could be going out of stock while you are pondering. My check out system unfortunately cannot detect and delete those out of stock items from your cart once it is in the cart when you check out, so will check out with them. 

Don't worry. I will send them to you as a back order as soon as I can. (unless it is a limited edition item...)

combining cones/balls in an order
If there is a multiple order of the same ball or cone of yarns in the same color - not skeins - (i.e. A-20-1 x 5 cones), I will wind them all into one cone or ball to conserve the weight of the shipment. A cone weighs approx. 1 oz., and with multiple cones, the weight of the package can be significantly heavier and cost more. This also conserves using extra paper product. 

Please kindly let us know if you prefer them to be in separate cones or balls.

yarn winding
I offer a winding service. It is usually $2.50/skein. Please send a note to request this at the time of the check out. This will be invoiced separately.

There is a higher winding fee for the following yarns, which takes 1-4 hours to wind.

$10/skein - NS-18A, C, F, H
$5/skein - NS-18-E, NS-18J, A-60, XS-51, N-108, N-25, A-115, A-116

No winding is offered for handspun/handreeled yarns.

yarn kit?
"Yarn kit" does not include a pattern. You will have to either purchase (or download free) the pattern from the individual pattern designer's website or a book. It is illegal for us to copy patterns, so please kindly understand. If it is yarn kit, the pattern source is mentioned on each kit page.

delivery time
Please allow approx. 3-15 days for a regular delivery from the confirmation. 

There could be a longer delay in delivery if you are in a certain area of the world due to a longer customs clearance or the way the postal service works. The delivery around the holiday time can especially be delayed. I have no control over this, so please be patient.
